Yes there was, but they did not yet remove the data. There is another (larger) case still open which used the same source. I guess it will be done together.

Danke für das Erfassen des neuen mountain bike trail. Ich hab mal etwas das wiki angeschaut, weil ich "cycleway" nicht so optimal finde. Ich denke üblicherweise wird das als path getaggt. Wäre das ok wenn ich das umtage?

ein Veloweg (highway=cycleway) bedeutet automatisch bicycle=yes. Darum brauchst du das nicht extra einzutragen. Ausserdem hat dieser Edit aus versehen einen grossen "Ausreisser" in die Bahnlinie gemacht (Die Brücke bei der alten Lorze macht plötzlich einen Umweg bis fast zur Steinhauserstrasse) Ich habe diese Änderung darum wieder rückgängig gemacht in osm.org/changeset/49620380 .

Also so viel besser hat der Hausumriss vorher auch nicht ausgesehen. Jedenfalls hat Jordi Franz nun nochmals nachgebessert (was auch andere hätten machen können). Sieht so gut aus, oder?

Indeed. But on a related note. Tagging highways in Switzerland with asphalt is a thing now? I mean, they even got rid of the old concrete ones. Don't get me wrong, no harm done. Just amusing :)

It looks like they do have a phone book entry. Looks good to me.

Schau oben, im changeset source tag siehst du einen Link zu der Dokumentation, auf welchen Daten basierend diese Anpassungen gemacht wurden.
Ich hab mir das changeset auf http://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=47586126 angeschaut, und ich sehe nicht, dass da ein Nebengebäude in ein anderes Gebäude integriert wurde. Welches Gebäude meinst du?

Deine Idee des "reinwaschen der Information" ist nicht neu. Du kannst gerne dazu weitere Meinungen aus des community einholen, z.B. auf der internationalen https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk talk mailingliste. Weil das ist wirklich etwas was die gesamte community betreffen würde.

OSM ist als Protest gegen verschlossene Karten entstanden, ja. Aber die Antwort war: Dann packen wir unsere GPS Geräte ein und sammeln die Daten einfach selber. Die wenigsten die hier mit machen sind Winkeladvokaten.

I think you were a bit too restrictive with access=private. I know I have been cycling several times from Schlossstrasse/Flurstrasse to Langenthal through the property of Glaströsch and south of the Forest along the train tracks. "private" is about the same as "no". So at least a few of those roads should be "permissive" or maybe even easier just no access tags.

We do not include translations in OSM. We only include actually used names. This means big cities usually have a well defined name in many languages, and lots of name tags in OSM. But not small insignificant things.
