Why was this edit made? There's no physical barrier or divider here, so I don't think this road should be dual carriageway.

The rule that highway=trunk must have a 40mph speed limit and be divided isn't a clear one; neither osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dtrunk nor osm.wiki/California#Highway_types supports it clearly in this case, and the latter says that "If something has a county, state or federal highway route number, it can and often does get classified higher if there is a question." (which is the case here; it has a county route number).

I think highway=trunk is appropriate here given that Oregon Expressway is more important than many of the highway=primary near it, similar importance to the other highway=trunk near it, and that highway=trunk appears to be generally used for the Santa Clara County expressway system (at least in the NW part of the county, which I'm most familiar with).

Is there a description somewhere of what highway=priority means? I'm trying to understand whether it makes sense at this intersection, which is a 2-way stop and appropriately tagged as such.

I fixed the use of multiple house numbers to use a semicolon instead of a comma in osm.org/changeset/92923040 . This is the general syntax in OSM for multiple values.

However, it's best to avoid multiple values when possible. Ideally, this would be best mapped as two separate address nodes corresponding to the entrances of the two units. But lacking that level of detail, two housenumbers on the building is acceptable though not the preferred way of mapping.

I've checked that the one change I reverted was the only change in this changeset not on the campus of the California School for the Blind (and the reason the changeset's rectangle is so large).

This reverted one of the changes in osm.org/changeset/84778231.

What was this changeset *trying* to do? I see seemingly-good edits to add Jack's Superette and the parking next to it, but then there's a ton of other stuff, with no comment to help understand what was supposed to be happening here.

I needed to revert another one of the changes in osm.org/changeset/69357816

I reverted one of the changes in this changeset in osm.org/changeset/69357650 because it introduced a zigzag in US-101 and put the speed limit boundary in the wrong place.

Reverted in osm.org/changeset/62187445 because it realigned the road to imagery that's years out-of-date rather than the new post-landslide path.
