| 389908 | doug_sfba | I believe this section of the John Muir Trail is wrongly positioned. I think the JMT follows the alignment of the other trail on the map a hundred meters or so to the north, that passes closer to the campsite. In other words, that trail IS the correct JMT, and the JMT as marked on the map does not exist. This based on a recent GPS survey, but I think confirmation is required. If I'm right, then the USGS Topo map is also wrong. |
