144578643 | over 1 year ago | There's no signs indicating these restrictions, why are they being mapped?
|
144575367 | over 1 year ago | Hi there, you've made a few edits of objects and then deleted them, are these real objects?
|
144530271 | over 1 year ago | Hi there, name should only be used for real names for things, if this area has a real name then please add it to the name tag, otherwise I'd remove template from it.

144414628 | over 1 year ago | I guessed as much, thanks for fixing it! |
144414628 | over 1 year ago | Should The Overland really be tagged as service=commuter? I would have thought servce=long_distance

144309065 | over 1 year ago | Plus, how it renders here is not how every other renderer will render. osm.org is designed for mappers, not for map viewers. |
144309065 | over 1 year ago | Razed is generally used for when there is some kind of remaining track of some sort showing where the tram line is, or if mapping is out of date to what's in real life and still shows the track. If the tram track no longer exists, it should be deleted. If OpenRailwayMap needs that information, they'd need to consider a combination of data from OSM and from another source like OpenHistoryMap. |
144309065 | over 1 year ago | Hi there, the imagery you've used does not show tram lines where you've mentioned, are you able to let me know where these are sourced from? You've mentioned that these are former tram lines, and they appear to no longer exist in any form, so they shouldn't be mapped. |
144171078 | over 1 year ago | How it shows on maps is up to the renderer, and mapping/tagging for renderers is frowned upon. If they don't show an alt_name or allow searching for alt_name tags, that's on them, but the OSM data itself should just reflect the truth, which is the name K'gari. |
144171078 | over 1 year ago | Have you got a source for this change at all? The official name in all sources I can find is K'gari, and Fraser Island is already listed as an alt_name. |
144117227 | over 1 year ago | "Therefore, highway=primary_link should be used on a slip road/ramp which connects a highway=primary to a secondary, tertiary, or other minor highway." How I read it is that it doesn't mention direction, just the classes of roads. |

144117227 | almost 2 years ago | Hey, is there any reason why this has been downgraded when the OSM guidelines say it should match the highest highway connected? |
143816369 | almost 2 years ago | My understanding is that it’s the highest grade road that it is linked to, as mentioned on the wiki: osm.wiki/Highway_link |
143840276 | almost 2 years ago | Looks good to me, thanks! |
143840276 | almost 2 years ago | You’d probably be best with a separate way for the oval at large, so the track is separate |
143868671 | almost 2 years ago | Thanks for fixing that, must have mistyped when doing that section! |
143840276 | almost 2 years ago | Ahh it blends into the mowing tracks. The only other problem is there's a cricket wicket there, the oval is clearly multi-purpose and you've removed the oval itself, replacing it solely with a running track. If there's a way to map both that would be ideal, otherwise you've now taken information away from the oval, and looking at the other couple of maproulette edits you did yesterday, they all appear to be the same. |
143840276 | almost 2 years ago | Hi conradoos, are you able to let us know why you've added a relation for a running track here? It looks like you've just tried to make the map reflect a track based on previous tags, despite none of your sources listed actually showing a track. |
142023482 | almost 2 years ago | Hey Goblin, I'd recommend checking out osm.wiki/Australian_Tagging_Guidelines for the best ways to tag in Australia, there's a couple of things you've tagged that don't follow the proper format. |
