I’m a federal data scientist based in Washington, DC, passionate about open data, open government, and using geospatial technology for public good. My contributions to OpenStreetMap span both local and humanitarian efforts.

As a DC-area native, I actively map my home region to improve local geographic data. I also support global humanitarian mapping initiatives through the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, helping communities worldwide access better geographic information.

I’m a strong believer in geo-education and community building, having served as the onboarding lead for MaptimeHQ and co-organizer of MaptimeDC, where I helped create welcoming spaces for people to learn about mapping and geospatial technology.

My professional work combines statistical analysis with geospatial data science, allowing me to bring technical expertise to mapping projects. I’m particularly interested in how open data and collaborative mapping can enhance government transparency and public services.
