Thank you for adding details of this parking lot. However, it is already mapped as a way outlining the lot. In OSM there should be only one feature for each real world feature, so the details should be added to the way that already exists.

I'm a little bit lost on the bike lane tagging myself. It shows correctly in Streetcomplete's UI. Are you seeing issues on a data consumers end?

I noticed that you had changed the bike tagging on the sidewalk here. It was mapped as using the sidewalk because the bike route continues east on Saint Marks Ave, but does so by using the section of sidewalk and crosswalks across Eastern Parkway and Rockaway Avenue.

If you are converting the POI to a point, please also remove the amenity=pub tag from the building. Right now this reflects on the map as if there are 2 pubs and one is missing a name.

I noticed a crossing along Broadway in this changeset had surface=asphalt. The section of Broadway that I am familiar with (around Kosciusko street to Chauncey Street) is all concrete, and the concrete typically extends across the adjacent crossings. We should probably revisit the surface tags on these crossings.

The details you added to the rugby field noise can be added as tags on the sports pitch area there. You can add multiple sports by separating them with a semicolon.

I just realized that I advised you on the wrong tag, I think tourism=chalet is the most accurate tag. osm.wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dchalet

Hi, thanks for making your first edit on OSM! I see that you added the tag category=Vacation Rental, this tag does not fit into the standard tagging structure for accommodation locations on OSM. I looked at the OSM wiki and I think the best tagging would be as tourism=guest_house osm.wiki/Tag:tourism%3Dguest_house

Changing this helps consumers of OSM data properly catalogue the business.

There should be only a node or an area for one real world feature. I did notice that you added a lot of good additional information to the node that could be included on the area. You can merge the features in the ID editor to combine them and keep all of the tags you added.

Thank you for catching this. The changeset came from StreetComplete and I'm not quite sure what I selected to make it add those tags. I will have to find another bike lane quest and see what it does.

In terms of street level imagery I'm not sure what you are using, but a good source is the NYC Cyclomedia imagery, it is much more recent/complete than any other sources. Here is a link: https://www.geocoder.nyc/streetview.html

One additional detail that you can add when mapping crossings is adding barrier=kerb nodes where the sidewalk becomes the crossing.

You can leave the type and tactile_paving tags blank since they aren't visible in aerial imagery. However, if those get filled in it enables routing for mobility and vision impaired users.

Changeset comment was prefilled with something incorrect. Actually mapped sidewalks and crossings and a parking lot.

I noticed in this changeset that you edited the crossing=traffic_signals tag to crossing=marked Is that the more appropriate tagging if the crossing is at a traffic light controlled intersection?

I was at the park several hours prior to making this edit and the signage on site for the trails edited indicates no bikes. The trail around the perimeter of this peninsula allows bikes.

I'm not sure about the other peninsula, it was closed before I got there.
