72355506 | about 6 years ago | Hello! This looks like someone's house, not a park. Please don't add fake parks to the map.
|
72352788 | about 6 years ago | Hi! Welcome to OSM. If you'd like to add a park, please make sure you use the park's name and not your own. Also, it's important to put the point where the park actually is, not on a road. I'm going to remove this point. If you need help adding a park, please ask!

72285538 | about 6 years ago | Please don't make incorrect edits to support the game you play.

72136322 | about 6 years ago | I misread the change report, they are indeed connected. Thanks for your response and I look forward to all your changes! |
72136322 | about 6 years ago | Hi! Welcome to OSM. Note that you should try to keep your edits in the same geographic area. You also didn't connect these two driveways to any existing roads.

71643434 | about 6 years ago | Thanks for adding to OSM! Don't forget to use the squaring function in iD to make the building have right angles. Select the building and hit the "Q" key on your keyboard.

71570885 | about 6 years ago | Hi! Thanks for adding your workplace to the map. It looks like you duplicated the building, though, so I'm going to remove the duplicate.
|
71515723 | about 6 years ago | This looks like a house, not a car parts store. Did you maybe put this on the wrong spot? Do you know the name of the car parts store?
|
71518182 | about 6 years ago | Hi! Thanks for adding to OSM. Is this whole area a retention basin or is the retention basin part of a park or something? Looks good if it's the whole thing.

71348225 | about 6 years ago | Hello! Thanks for adding these houses. Make sure that when you add houses you're making them match the outline of the house and using the "Q" key to square the corners. These are clearly not circular houses :)

71340445 | about 6 years ago | Hi! I'm going to revert this change because it looks like a business park instead of a regular park. Please let me know if you have any questions.
|
71007750 | about 6 years ago | Thanks, your most recent changes look great. Looks like there's a lot of stuff missing from OSM in this area… |
71007927 | about 6 years ago | Hello! It looks like Lake George already existed. I'm going to remove the duplicate you added. Let me know if you have any questions! |
71007750 | about 6 years ago | Thanks for adding this point! In order to improve the geocode you'll want to include the address information on the point (along with specifying a preset for the point). You can do that in the iD editor by clicking on the point and searching for a preset that makes sense for what this building is. Let me know if you want help!
|
71005120 | about 6 years ago | Thanks for adding these buildings! Keep in mind that when adding buildings you should outline the entire building and mark it as a building, not a landuse area. Additionally, if a building is rectangular you can use the editor's "Square" functionality to help make the corners square. Select the area and hit the letter "Q" on your keyboard to square the corners. Finally, it's customary in OSM to map the building and the businesses inside of it separately, especially when a single building might have multiple tenants like this. Once you've outlined the building, create points for each of the offices inside.

71003802 | about 6 years ago | Yea, looks good! |
71003486 | about 6 years ago | Hi again Gabriel0322! I wanted to point out that you changed a building into a "landuse" area (osm.org/way/65239946). That polygon is outlining a building, so it should probably stay a building.

70929246 | about 6 years ago | No worries! I was just curious. |
