I wondered around for a few hours yesterday, and got complete mapping of NCN 4 from Castle Park to the Downs (so everything the map lacked near the centre really). I also completed NCN 41 up to Queen's square, where the signs just seem to indicate that if you want route 4, you just keep going around until you meet it. Likewise for the connection from 4 to 41. Interestingly, the signs suggest you oppose the one-way system (for route 41 to route 4), but you can only cycle on the pavement for half of the connection.

As a side note (and obviously I wouldn't use it for mapping), the meeting of 3, 4 and 41 in the centre of Queen's square shown on the sustrans map seems false, and that you can't even cycle on any of the gravel paths leading to the centre.

The NCN 3 seems to finish at Temple Meads, even though there is (a little) signage on Redcliffe Way. I would have to totally make up a suitable route to lead it there (incidentally Redcliffe Way leads to Queens Square). However, someone wanting to get from 4 to 3 could probably work it out themselves, so adding a non-existent connection to the map seems silly.

Additionally, there is (very scarce) signage on Clarence Road and Wapping Road indicating a connection from route 3 to route 41 (but not, strangely, for route 3 coming from 41). The route is actually a rather nice connection, but Bedminster Bridge roundabout would be a pain (i.e. unmanageable) to cycle around, and the pavement doesn't have cycling provisions, so I am unsure if I should map that as (3)/(41) or not.
