Since 2012 I’m using OSM more and more!

In the meantime OSMand is my main routing engine, when driving vehicles. Further I’ve more tools, which use OSM data as base mainly offline, but also online, e.g. c:geo (a Geocacher APP), Calimoto (a motorbiking APP from a german company).

One very active mapper told me some time ago about StreetComplete and EveryDoor, which makes mapping more gaming. When not searching Geocaches (or Geocaches are not in a good distance to, I play (mostly) StreetComplete :-)

Abroad from OSM I like community projects and “free” programs, helping them to get even better by providing data orthelike or helping in aspects, I can give and they need. Also commercial programs - I use - I try to make better (in my mind) by discussing with support (using my nearly 25 years experience in technical customer support in several branches as a binding member between customer and software department)
