Hola. En principio puede parecerlo. Sin embargo, como castellanohablante habitual en mi entorno ya no se utiliza ese topónimo, y en toda la literatura y medios de comunicación en castellano que he consultado tampoco consta, por lo que creo que está en desuso. Quizás una etiqueta old_name:es le vendría mejor, lo dejo a decisión de la comunidad local de mapeadores en Galicia (no sé si existe organizada como tal, yo suelo mapear bastante en esa zona)

I think that this is not an alt name. This is the new official denomination for the town. You can see it on the source. I think that alt tag is more suitable for local denominations not for the official name. Thanks for your interest.
