Removing private highways just because they are private is not recommended. We have the tag access=private for that. I would appreciate it if you would revert this changeset to add back the driveway.

Deleting and then retracing is not the recommended way to modify objects, as the history of said objects is not preserved. I have restored the old paths history with the geometry of your new path. Let me know if you have any feedback.
