110409629 | almost 4 years ago | If everyone does large geographical changesets, then no one will want to review local changes in osmcha.org. What if a country has its own specific guidelines? Have you even considered that? -1

110365478 | almost 4 years ago | In the past, many residential have been wrongly tagged as service+alley. If you are familiar with the area, feel free to change them to residential if you are sure they are not private roads/driveways (service). best, julien

110326112 | almost 4 years ago | If a road is on private land, highway=service would be more appropriate with the corresponding access tag (e.g. customers). If the main purpose of a road is access to agricultural fields, a highway=track would be the better choice. In most cases unclassified should be only used for long through traffic roads linking villages and other destinations along a public road. 110328181 | almost 4 years ago | Maybe "description "would be more appropriate instead of name?

110314991 | almost 4 years ago | thanks for cleaning up the map. I would however recommend keeping clearly visible minor roads (driveways, residential, and track). Many of these minor roads have been wrongly tagged, feel free to fix them based on the new official section for minor highway classification below, and let me know if you have any questions about them. thanks, julien

Please review your past edits, it is the responsibility of the mapper to respond to changeset discussions and correct them when necessary. If I do not hear further from you, I may have to flag you and revert your changesets.

110203191 | almost 4 years ago | Hello Hein, a tip about names in general. "name" should be for the official local name, "name:en" for the English translation, "name:th" for the Thai name (often duplicated) If the official restaurant name is in Thai and you only know it in English, then only use "name:en". Cheers, Julien. See this example osm.org/node/4592605527/history

110219289 | almost 4 years ago | While the beginning of the road is clearly residential, the remaining part is mostly giving access to agricultural fields (track). The last part of the road might even be a private road (service). If you are not sure, do not add or split the road into multiple segments so it's easier to change later. thanks

110219289 | almost 4 years ago | Please refer to the official OSM Thailand guidelines for minor road classifications. osm.wiki/WikiProject_Thailand#Rough_guidelines_for_minor_highway_tag_decision-making_.28useful_in_most_cases.29

110278154 | almost 4 years ago | Why curving the road at the end ? There is no clear visible path under it and the other property has its own road.
|
110192623 | almost 4 years ago | Hello Marco, please kindly use Maxar or ESRI instead of Bing which has outdated imagery in Northern Thailand. Some of the buildings you added do not exists anymore. If you can, please also combine multiple edits in the same area within the same changesets so it is easier for others to review. Just curious, what has adding farming huts to do with a Malaria program? Best, Julien

110145730 | almost 4 years ago | - highway should be track to match the continuing road purpose
|
110145946 | almost 4 years ago | - is the road large enough for a pickup truck ? yes, then track is correct, otherwise use path

109846031 | almost 4 years ago | - is the beginning of the road public and giving access to permanent residences? if yes, you might need to split the road into 2 segments and have the first part as residential and the second as service. if not highway=service works great.
