Stream is named "River Poddle / Whitestown Stream" and "Tallaght Stream". I don't think it can be part of the Poddle, which is further north.

I find it very hard to believe that the suburb of Rathfarnham extends down even further south than here. Shouldn't it stop around Rathfarnham golf course? osm.org/relation/2643835/#map=13/53.2781/-6.2385

This is place is not porterhouse anymore. Now it is called beach park

Massive restoration work in this saddle. Fence now in place, however, the fence is not covering the entire working area.
Hikers/walkers should avoid this area.
