Hej Niels,

Tack för din meddelande. Jag har bara raderat layer=1 eftersom det hade varit konflikter med bröar med samma layer tag. Jag har ikke bytt highway tag enligt min historia.

Hälsningar,

Hi,

Thanks for your message. In our work we tend to use shortcuts such as Circle arc (shift+c) in order to smoothen the geometries so JOSM automatically adds more nodes.
However, in this particular changeset I haven't used any of the shortcuts as I tend to draw more by hand. There are no AI tools involved.

Hope this helps.

Hi,
This tag is not mine and you can simply check that if you look closely at the left segment of the same way (on the other side of the roundabout) because the whole history of that way is contained in that segment. There you can see that the particular tag was added some seven years ago by some other user.

The history on this segment that you are referring to is "inherited" because I had split the way to make some other changes on the roundabout which can be seen in my changeset comment. This is a very common situation you should be aware of in order not to get confused, just check the history for the other segments.

Hello CoyKoi,

The reason I was in this area was because I was fixing issues regarding incorrect lanes in Osmose. The junction in question turned out as an issue in Osmose because it had incorrect lanes since this was a result of an earlier edit where the user myfanwy reduced the number of lanes:backward but didn't reduce the number of turn lanes and that resulted in a badly modeled junction in Osmose (left turn lane was surplus so I've added the link that was visible on the imagery). However, there were no notes (the note #2272972 you are referring to was created by anonymous just yesterday) or any other imagery that could provide me with the updated information. Therefore, having in mind that the junction was already having some modeling issues, I've added the link using the latest
information I could find on all available imageries and Open Street Cam. If I had any info at that time (like I did in many cases) I would react according to it.

Best regards,

Dear aharvey,

Please double check if you are allowed to put the source tag on a node. I received warnings in JOSM for eight nodes which contain the source:geometry tag.

Thanks in advance!

Hi aharvey,

Thank you for pointing this out. The paved tag remained from one of the previous changes. After I had splitted the way into two, I didn't removed the tag because I assumed it was correct. However, I should have checked the validity of the tag more carefully.
The tag is removed now until the surface type can be confirmed. I've also edited the geometry according to the LPI NSW Base Map since the geometry itself can't be confirmed by any imagery.
