17041400 | almost 8 years ago | Oh man, no idea I'm afraid. It will probably have been a local signpost or suchlike. I was wandering around the area. |
50701215 | almost 8 years ago | My edit comment didn't go right for some reason. Intended was: "London, Kings Cross: fix tagging for Vx vegan cafe/deli" |
48866034 | about 8 years ago | Fixed in osm.org/changeset/49281022 |
48866034 | about 8 years ago | Joan: but do the Boathouse apartments extend all the way? i.e. should those two building objects be merged, or should the right-hand one be removed? |
48866034 | about 8 years ago | ...yes |
48866034 | about 8 years ago | Hi - yes the building really exists. I mapped its extent from GPS. You're correct that the Poplar Union etc lives in the ground floor - however I do not know whether the buildings are truly separate or should be merged. However I do know that the Western extent is correct. |
47075756 | about 8 years ago | Hi - could you please fix the "Afrikaans" naming on this object? It does need fixing. |
41520436 | over 8 years ago | Hi - may I suggest diet:vegetarian=only rather than cuisine=vegetarian? |
46635473 | over 8 years ago | Hi - may I suggest diet:vegetarian=yes (or =only) rather than cuisine=vegetarian? |
47075756 | over 8 years ago | Thanks. I think they're not quite the same place but they're both part of the same building? If so, then I'd suggest you actually add the Assembly Hall as a separate node inside the town hall. That has advantages: you can specify totally different properties for the two things (e.g. phone number). But at minimum, I hope you don't mind fixing the name issue. Cheers. |
47075756 | over 8 years ago | (Also, are you sure they're the same place?) |
47075756 | over 8 years ago | Hi - thanks for contributing to OpenStreetMap... but I see a problem here. Why did you edit this to say that "Isington Assembly Hall" is the Afrikaans name for this building? It's definitely not Afrikaans! What would have been much better would be to use the "alt_name" tag, if you wanted to add an alternative name. Would you please do that, perhaps? |
46668290 | over 8 years ago | Hi - there's a mistake in the "wikidata" tag on various of these objects. I think you intended to use the "wikipedia" tag? I fixed them in osm.org/changeset/47081035 |
36501327 | over 8 years ago | Hi - thanks for adding the Globe Town marker, but did you notice there's already one in a slightly different location? osm.org/node/3064005585

46031162 | over 8 years ago | Is it really useful to put all these objects in the database? If the area needs surveying, why not just one area covering the area needed? Or, why not just one note? FWIW, the area is (in reality) quite a mess of construction sites, warehouses of unclear access and use, etc. Not going to be easy to resolve all the demands implied by the fixmes. |
13897438 | over 8 years ago | Hi Robert - I emailed you on 16th Nov 2016 about this. Please see that email for a bit more info and discuss further if needed |
42230493 | almost 9 years ago | Flukie, OK thanks. Well this is a shame - now the history of OSM edits is even _harder_ to understand! |
42216945 | almost 9 years ago | Random? They're certainly spread over a large area! It'd be helpful for others if you could say something a bit more substantial in your description, please? And ideally keep updates to relatively local chunks. (This is because inspecting OSM changes can be a bit clunky - the main view makes it look as if this edit includes most of the USA, most of Europe, and some of Africa/Russia, which is probably an exaggeration.) |
42230493 | almost 9 years ago | Hi - thanks for your contributions! Am I reading this right: you've added items for a few different countries, at once? If so, it's helpful if you try to keep them in separate changesets, relatively "local". (It makes it easier for other people to understand the edits.) |
40144828 | about 9 years ago | josm seems to have lost my intended changeset description: something like, "misc details from survey" |
