re Way: 5196494.
This is a gated private service road leading into a railway yard. Because it is wrongly marked as a highway, cycling apps are suggesting routes along it. Please change tags so that it is NOT treated as allowing public access.

This essential structure underlying this section of this cycle route is missing - so it doesn't appear on cycling related apps like Komoot. A camera operated 'bus gate' prevents use by general motor traffic; but the highway has a footway and the general carriageway can be used by cycles.

Path - formerly part of green-chain walk - is closed. No longer accessible to public. Gate at edge of woodland farm was locked some years ago (2010?). More recently (2016 ?) access from Keats Rd was closed.

There's a break in the representation of the cycle paths to the north and to the south of this marker. On the ground its one track, in the map it appears as two features (#40221944) and (#136475600) with gap between them.

(narrow) footpath from arundel close connects with upton road, near to upton close

There are steps here, preventing 'wheeled' access between path and Exeter Rd. See

One block to south (Camborne Rd), there are NO steps - hurrah !

Please mark this as a permitted section for cycling. Streetview etc will confirm 'except cycling' displayed on no-entry signs. At present Komoot does not recognise this a permitted route which makes me suspect some tags are missing.

Is it possible to make a U-turn at this place? There are no prohibitory signs, but there is a feedback from the driver who was unable to complete the U-turn in this place.

The junction diagram is incorrect. It is causing routing apps based on OSM to give misleading results. It is possible to turn from Bellegrove Rd (eastbound), or from Hook Lane (northbound), into Danson Crescent. The position of Danson Crescent junction with Hook Lane should be slightly further south.
