101668280 | over 4 years ago | I suspect the issue may be the shared node with the Limehouse Link (already layer=-2), which may be treated as a junction. Setting layer=1 on the path should not be necessary. |
101510281 | over 4 years ago | Hi Bernard,

100658435 | over 4 years ago | "Hamsey" may already have been mapped as "Hamsey Place Barn". It's Grade II listed ( https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1267318 ), although the heritage/historic tagging isn't present in OSM. I'm happy to help with adding this, if this is what you wanted to do. |
100643238 | over 4 years ago | Good idea. There are a some where I really ought to add notes with photographs where the position is a bit out as well. |
100543577 | over 4 years ago | I see. You converted the landuse=residential polygon to a multipolygon and cut out the non-residential parts as inner members. If you/Potlatch added changeset comments and source information, it might be easier for other mappers to work out what is going on. |
100543577 | over 4 years ago | What is the practical benefit of merging the whole town into a single landuse=residential polygon, which now overlaps landuses which are anything but residential? |
100368346 | over 4 years ago | Done. |
100368346 | over 4 years ago | Is the taxi=yes access tag needed at all? It looks like the cab firm which mapped the oneway=yes restriction added the redundant taxi="one way" tag. |
100301057 | over 4 years ago | Removing the highway=residential tag from Langdon Close ( osm.org/way/93402091 ) stops it being treated by renderers and routers as any form of road. This is probably not what you intended. |
99969862 | over 4 years ago | I'm fairly sure QEOP haven't changed these since I uploaded pics to Mapillary, if that's of any help. I'll double check on my run this afternoon.

99838464 | over 4 years ago | It may be worth keeping the building=yes tag, as it remains a building whether or not it contains a branch of Tesco. |
99793653 | over 4 years ago | Thanks - and thanks again for the work you and your team are doing on junctions. |
99824533 | over 4 years ago | I wondered if it was an organised edit from the #bolt and Bolt<nnn> usernames. This didn't break anything important, as I can't imagine anyone needing to use OSM to follow the bus or cycle routes affected here. However, if a junction in London is complex enough to remodel, it's probably traversed by a bus or cycle route and they should be aware of that. At least they're using JOSM, so it shouldn't be hard for them to fix relations. |
99793653 | over 4 years ago | Hi, welcome to OSM and thanks for updating the map. If you alter the geometry of a junction more complex than a simple intersection between two ways, please check for and update any route relations which traverse the junction. I have fixed the bus and cycle routes following this changeset in osm.org/changeset/99824533 |
98301740 | over 4 years ago | Yes, it could be worded it little better in the app to give ramp=separate as a more obvious option when there are nearby short ways with highway=cycleway|footway + incline=* Updated in osm.org/changeset/98317186 |
98133992 | over 4 years ago | Thanks for fixing this. It might have been helpful if you used a changeset comment other than "I have fixed an event" or had left a comment when you closed osm.org/note/2037161 |
98027570 | over 4 years ago | Thanks! |
97987588 | over 4 years ago | Hi, Welcome to OSM and many thanks for contributing to the map. The name tag isn't needed to describe the objects you have mapped, as other tags convey this information to data consumers. You could use building=house rather than building=yes to make this clearer. The back garden would probably be better mapped as leisure=garden + garden:type=residential + access=private If you want to square off a feature, there's a function in the iD editor to do that. I hope the links below are helpful. https://learnosm.org/en/beginner/id-editor/

97904800 | over 4 years ago | Thanks to a complaining foot preventing me from running, I've been doing a lot more local walking and StreetComplete, plus trying to clear up local notes and Osmose issues. It's a pity the notes in Chobham Manor are anonymous, as being able to communicate would have been quite useful. |
97833986 | over 4 years ago | Is it worth changing junction=roundabout to razed:junction=roundabout as well, so it won't be picked up by queries and QA tools looking for roundabouts? |
