In Italy there are also two cities (Genoa and Florence) where there’s distinction between addresses for buildings (black addresses) and for commercial activities (red addresses)!

I map on a node not to overcomplicate mapping… And I don’t like the interpolation, but that’s a personal taste :-)

I think this could be solved by updating the contributor terms to provide exception to your “I want my data back!” section in case of government or ngo for example… In these “public service” cases perhaps less bureaucracy is better…

Si è rotto un hard disk del server a Londra… Dopo averlo ripristinato, deve rigenerare la cache delle tiles ai livelli di zoom 17-18, quindi oltre al normale traffico c’è anche il renderer che sta girando, il che rallenta un botto il server..

Se hai un cellulare Android ti consiglio di installarti Keypadmapper2 che ti facilita notevolmente la raccolta dei numeri civici :-)

Focusing on details, regarding mapping projects, I find nice Turin public transport’s page (osm.wiki/Torino/Trasporti_pubblici) and Terlizzi’s status page (osm.wiki/Terlizzi#Situazione_attuale_in_Mapnik), this one gives an overview way to measure how much is mapped..
