79205949 | almost 2 years ago | hey oba510, the pedestrian street in Dogpatch Arts Plaza cuts through the sculpture in the middle of the plaza. I thought it might be time to delete it because there's already a pedestrian area marked and the street no longer exists. I'd like to hear your opinion first since you were the last person to edit the street. :) |
140499434 | almost 2 years ago | Mapping individual trees in a forest is far more redundant than mapping them in a city. If such a situation happened I would be hesitant to remove them myself but if someone else decided to do so I wouldn't contest it. Personally I think the best option would be to keep the mapped trees and also draw a forest area around them. |
140499434 | almost 2 years ago | I think it's fine to map a tree row as a way if there aren't already trees mapped, but by removing already mapped trees and replacing them with a tree row you're removing detail from the map. |
140498727 | almost 2 years ago | Hi kolivere, the amount of nodes on this object were not excessive. Removing detail poses little to no benefit in this situation. Please make sure to only simplify objects that have an excessive amount of nodes node. A good example of an feature with too many nodes is this small building in California, which contained 339 nodes.
I've reverted your changeset

140499434 | almost 2 years ago | Hi dpolovinkin, you shouldn't remove detail from the map for the sake of simplicity. Detail is part of what makes OSM so great! I've reverted your changeset

140391675 | almost 2 years ago | Hi minaap, welcome to OpenStreetMap! Are the abbreviations recognized by the college? |
140374276 | almost 2 years ago | Oh I'm sorry you're completely right, I had misread the tag and thought it said Tu-Fr instead of We-Fr. Thanks for pointing out my mistake, you can find my changeset here. :) |
140374276 | almost 2 years ago | There were no times noted for Monday, I assumed that meant they were closed so I removed the Monday part of the tag. Upon further research I found 2 different websites, both belonging to this restaurant. One of them says they're open 7 days a week and the other says they're closed on Tuesdays. I'm not sure which to believe. |

136878465 | almost 2 years ago | Hi greembow! In future changesets please make sure to specify what the "oopsie :3" was in the changeset comment, that way other mappers know what went wrong/got fixed :3 |
140244241 | almost 2 years ago | Hi ybmeng, welcome to OpenStreetMap. May I ask why you named the building "Waymo New Front Door"? It seems like an odd name for a business. |
140275602 | almost 2 years ago | Hi setarehlawstockton, this is the 3rd time your firm has added one of your locations to OpenStreetMap. Each time I've politely asked you not to use the description tag to advertise your business. Advertising your business goes against the guidelines described on the description tag wiki page. |
