136992595 | about 2 years ago | Thanks for the updates (7MB local) |
136992688 | about 2 years ago | When adding buildings its useful to use the Q key after assigning them as buildings. This will "square' the corners (given most buildings have square corners). Its also best practice to keep the area of your changesets small - in this case you have edited in both TAS and NSW. It would be better to have done them as separate changesets. |
136992888 | about 2 years ago | Not a good start to your mapping. Please consider that whilst the map is open to all to edit its not a playground. If you require assistance in how to map then feel free to contact me. |
136992888 | about 2 years ago | This changeset has been reverted due to vandalism |
136735802 | about 2 years ago | OK - all updated, including opening hours |
136767811 | about 2 years ago | I have updated these individual buildings. generally you only need the full address on one building (or node which I have also added). I think the main building is a reception and cafe/restaurant which I will update after a visit. |
136735802 | about 2 years ago | so what is the correct number for House of Hargraves? I have removed Barringwood Wines. |
136735802 | about 2 years ago | Hi Carol - You might want to check the phone number as it has too many digits. In the international format the leading zero on mobile numbers is also omitted. |
136236688 | about 2 years ago | Having the site as a landuse area is an issue as in reality for most of the time the area is a carpark. Having individual stalls as nodes is a lot better as they can also get different tags for the type of 'crafts' or goods sold. osm.wiki/Key:craft PS I am also a local Tasmanian. I will send you a personal email re some tags. |
136236688 | about 2 years ago | I have updated your listing to a node (tourist attraction) and also added the opening hours. It would not be appropriate to have a landuse listing for a place that only operates one day a week |
136082219 | over 2 years ago | Ooops - hopefully its fixed now |
135560042 | over 2 years ago | Hi Wombat - try to remember to "square' buildings after drawing around them. After assigning the building tag press the Q key on your keyboard or click on the message in ID editor. Happy mapping! |
135612579 | over 2 years ago | Hi Clarkington - best practice is not to join land use to roadways. In this instance it should be drawn at the fencelines to the paddocks, not the road. |
135385492 | over 2 years ago | Very few grapes in the midlands - these are cherry orchards (Jericho). |
134706464 | over 2 years ago | The correct tagging for a cliff is natural=cliff (not cliffs). I have updated all your recent edits |
134429236 | over 2 years ago | Are the "kierans spot's" actual attractions? Seems to me that this changeset has some issues. Certainly the names are more descriptions than proper names. |
134096661 | over 2 years ago | Its also best practice to add useful changeset comments rather than just single words - osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments |
134096661 | over 2 years ago | Good edit but remember to 'square' the buildings using the Q key of your keyboard. |
133334560 | over 2 years ago | Why was the land that is actually farming deleted in this changeset? https://osmcha.org/changesets/133595088?aoi=c18a05d1-bdfc-4d43-add3-dda59c918220 |
133493059 | over 2 years ago | You do realise that lots of this "natural=wood" is actually commercial forestry (landuse=forest)? You also appeared to have deleied out some of the farmed areas and included them with the natural=wood despite the fact they are paddocks. |
