Out first feature of OSM integration is now ready at http://timatio.com - registered users can now re-post their GPS tracks to OpenStreetMap.
Together with the track, timatio sends tags, descriptions and some track metrics to OpenStreetMap. Once a track is re-posted to OSM, the timatio track display contains a link to the respective OSM feature.
timatio also creates "fake timestamps" to preserve privacy - the relative timing information of a track is kept intact, though (allowing to extract speed metrics from tracks).
All tracks re-posted by timatio users are available here: osm.org/user/timatio/traces
The full story (including a screenshot) is available here: http://timatio.soup.io
