Thanks - now joining the list to find out what's going on and how it can be fixed.

Thanks, SomeoneElse. It sounds like this whole thing is about *rendering*? If there's a move to not rendering refs, then isn't the right thing to change your renderer, rather than corrupting the whole database to fit the rendering? That's totally against the "don't tag for the renderer" principle.

I *think* I've subscribed, but haven't received any messages yet. I'd really like to find out what caused all this damage...

I've now subscribed to talk-gb, but won't be able to read until next week (I don't have email access here, only Web).

I surveyed on Sunday evening (when it definitely was 1 lane and 40 mph) - it was supposed to open fully today, but I'm not in a position to resurvey (about 150 miles away, sorry).

Are you using a script for this vandalism? Please reverse it so that it restores the standard and documented tags. Thanks.

Where did the 15 km/h limit at Roman Camp come from?

This was still signed as closed when I passed last weekend - is it really open to all vehicles? If not, then it might need motor_vehicle=no.

Makes sense - the carriageways are from an average of a few dozen traces, so they can be regarded as exact. I'll update them if I'm not beaten to it!

Yes, and the linking section is on its way to being surfaced.

I didn't survey - but the path was on the exact alignment of the railway, so merged the ways. It's not far from work (Rosyth), so I might be able to make a trip to actually look when the weather gets drier.

Now updated from latest aerial photos.

I've just been down to Ferrytoll - FRB is definitely signed as A9000 on the approaches to the roundabout.

I didn't tag that ref, and I was as surprised as you. But when traffic was recently diverted over the old bridge, that's what was signed, so I can now corroborate it. I think it's still operated (by FETA) on behalf of Transport Scotland (making it 'trunk' by the strict rules, but signed in white-backed signs as a Principal Road; obviously of even lower status in actuality). A bit of an anomaly, I think - let's see how things settle down.

Thanks for adding these roads - have you had chance to survey "on the ground"? It would be nice to include speed limits, lanes and lighting attributes.

Fixed - thanks for picking this up!

50039823 almost 8 years ago

It was some time ago - I remember looking them up in something at least vaguely official. But it could have been CBRD; I should have noted the source when I submitted the change!

Thanks. I've fixed this, and in progress of more accurately tracing both aqueducts using OS 6"/mile mapping from early 1900s.

The western end looks slightly off compared to the 1960s map - it splits into sidings, mostly under the present-day Kirkland Drive and on to the old Carrongrove Paper Mill. That part is probably more accurate to tag railway=dismantled, I think. Will update to correct it.

Please resurrect Way 246892527 - deleting that broke Relation 3332503. Thanks.
