| 1218281 | Pike Place isn't really a living street (once you get away from the intersection with 1st Ave). It has sidewalks and curbs, and one is likely to get run over by a car if walking down the middle of the roadway. "Living street" implies low speed vehicles and shared space, but here there is still a very clear delineation between cars and pedestrians, and traffic is only slow during the day because of the number of cars. |
