There are technical issues with your import (importing lots of nodes first, and matching ways later), and the data is faulty (houses diagonally cut along a rectangular grid). Please stop importing and seek help on the imports mailing list.

Ist das die Antwort auf die Frage, ob Deine Edits einen Sinn haben ;) welchen Sinn verfolgst Du beispielsweise mit osm.org/way/393920402, wo Du einen "admin_level" aber kein "boundary=administrative" vergeben hast, und parallel dazu dem osm.org/node/3969684429? Bitte erkläre in Deinen Kommentaren genauer, was das Ziel deiner Edits ist, denn dazu sind sie da. Das "source"-Feld dient dazu, anzugeben, was die Datenquelle ist; dass Du "manuelle Eingabe" gemacht hast, glauben wir Dir schon, aber woher weisst Du, dass der Ortsteil Steinegg genau diese Grenze hat?

Don't understand - the changeset did not delete any ways, just removed some tags from nodes. The node you pointed out seems to have been part of a way that was deleted 7 months ago in osm.org/way/21117928/history

Die offizielle deutsche Bezeichnung für die Stadt Kaliningrad ist Kaliningrad und nicht Königsberg. Das ist bei Gdansk anders, das heisst tatsächlich heute noch auf Deutsch Danzig. (Ebenso bei Wroclaw oder Szczecin.) Daher darf Gdansk auch ein name:de=Danzig haben, Kaliningrad muss sich aber mit einem old_name:de=Königsberg begnügen. Was Anwendungsprogramme damit machen, spielt für diese Beurteilung nicht die geringste Rolle. Wenn maps.me keine old_name-Werte unterstützt, könnte das da ja mal jemand einbauen.

Lieber Fritz18, bitte verwende das "name:de"-Tag ausschliesslich für noch heute gültige Namen. Kaliningrad heißt seit 1946 auf Deutsch "Kaliningrad" und nicht "Königsberg". Wenn Du den alten Namen aufzeichnen willst, benutze dafür "old_name:de". Für Straßennamen im Ausland gilt, dass ein "name:de" nur dort zulässig ist, wo es auch auf den Straßenschildern steht. Ansonsten ist "old_name:de" zu verwenden. Bist Du in der Lage, die von Dir hinzugefügten "name:de" in Polen und Kaliningrad selbst auf old_name:de umzustellen, oder benötigst Du dabei Hilfe? -- Bitte sieh davon ab, weitere "name:de" hinzuzufügen oder diesen Hinweis zu ignorieren, da wir sonst Deinen Account sperren müssten. That this information pertains to objects in military or restricted areas is not reason enough to delete them. Please do not perform such deletions in the past since they will be seen as vandalism. The changesets in which you have deleted objects will have to be reverted. -- Thank you.

Please stop making these types of edits. "Gardening" is ok as long as you actually look at the individual objects you're editing. Loading a large number of objects through Taginfo/Overpass and mass-changing one property is not ok. A number of objects changed in this changeset have tags that anyone looking at them with a pair of eyes would have fixed ("elevation=33;34") - a lawnmower type of edit like yours doesn't improve the situation, it worsens it because it now looks as if "someone as edited this thing recently so it can't be too bad".

gnuckx, you have used the changeset comment "trace" instead of, what now seems more appropriate, "deleting garbage dumpers because they will be removed". Why? Also, in this changeset you deleted other things for example osm.org/node/2431432250 - why? -- As a general rule, you should never delete things just because they "are illegal" or "will be removed" - you can delete them once they ARE removed but not before. And when making edits that are potentially controversial, never hide them behind a useless changeset comment - always tell the others openly what you're doing and why.

There were 93 nodes deleted in this changeset and the comment given - "trace" - is insufficient to explain. Data Working Group has received a complaint about this and other deletions performed by you and user "select", and we're considering to revert all your edits made with meaningless changeset comments. I just wanted to give you a chance to explain why you think it is correct to remove these nodes (and why you placed a misleading changeset comment).

What is going on here? You are deleting 56 nodes and the changeset comment is "shelter"? What does that mean? Is it a mistake?

Ein mechenischer Edit liegt dann vor, wenn jemand im Blindflug das Tag A gegen das vermeintlich richtigere Tag B austauscht, ohne auf den Einzelfall zu achten. Solche Edits sind unerwünscht bzw. erfordern vorherige Diskussion. Deine hier vorgenommene Änderung, atpl_pilot, ist *offensichtlich* eine solche mechanische Änderung, sonst wären Dir zum Beispiel solche Klopfer wie der Name des Restaurants hier osm.org/node/3172085961 aufgefallen. Mit solchen gutgemeinten Massen-Edits verbesserst Du OpenStreetMap nicht; Dein Name erscheint nun als letzter Bearbeiter des seltsam benannten Restaurants und ein Ortsunkundiger muss annehmen, dass dieser Name offensichtlich richtig ist, denn sonst hätte atpl_pilot ihn ja sicherlich korrigiert? -- Also: Du darfst schon die Telefonnummer oder Webseite eines Objekts umstellen, aber wenn Du das mit der Gießkanne tust und dabei gar nicht anschaust, was Du da eigentlich bearbeitest, dann ist Nakaner mit seinem Revert im Recht. Bitte unterlasse diese Gießkannen-Edits, da wir die sonst auch offiziell von der DWG revertieren werden.

This footway is not really visible on aerial imagery. Are you sure that there is a footway there, and is it publicly accessible or perhaps just a private path? We had a complaint at DWG saying that using this footway would amount to trespassing.

This changeset appears to have introduced a large number of geometry errors (intersecting inner rings etc.), for example ways 329019306 and 329019257. I was looking at repairing it but it seems a lot of work cleaning up after broken software ;( i wonder if I should just revert the changeset.
