I wanted to ask the user what their data source was for these sweeping changes, but by that time the user had already deleted their account and it was impossible to verify their contribution. Hence I removed the data.

Richtig wäre amenity=vending_machine, vending=parking_tickets wie hier beschrieben osm.wiki/DE:Tag:amenity%3Dvending_machine - und das "Name"-Feld bitte leer lassen, ausser wenn einer dieser Automaten wirklich mal einen Eigennamen hätte, was sicherlich sehr selten vorkommt.

Wenn Du diese Eintragungen im Rahmen Deiner Geschäftstätigkeit vornimmst (und nicht weil Du als Privatperson zufällig Ortskenntnis hast), dann solltest Du das im Sinne der Transparenz in Deinem Userprofil entsprechend schreiben ("Ich arbeite in der XY-Agentur und kümmere mich darum, dass unsere Kunden korrekt eingetragen sind" oder so).
