This changeset seems to have removed some addresses like e.g. here osm.org/node/342302798/history - was that intentional and if yes, why?

Dear Aiman, please use better changeset comments than "Aggiunta dettagli". This is a changeset comment that matches 90% of all edits in OSM and hence it is relatively useless. Perhaps if you could make fewer changesets grouping more edits together, you could take the time to write a meaningful message.

Fast alle place=locality, die Du einträgst, finden sich "zufällig" an genau dem gleichen Punkt auf der RLP-Karte. Andere Benutzer haben Dich darauf aufmerksam gemacht, Du scheinst das aber zu ignorieren. Wenn Du damit weitermachst, riskierst Du, dass wir *alle* Deine Edits - auch die, die Du wirklich selbst vor Ort erhoben hast - entfernen müssen, weil nicht klar ist, was selbst erstellt und was abgeschrieben ist.

Hallo bwbuz, Du würdest es anderen Mappern extrem erleichtern, wenn Du (a) gute Changeset-Kommentare abliefern und (b) Edits, die Du in einer Sitzung machst, einfach als ein gemeinsames Changeset hochladen würdest. Dann kannst Du 100 Edits in Zerbst mit einem sinnvollen Kommentar wie "Adressen in Zerbst nach Ortsbegehung erfasst" oder sowas hochladen, statt dass Du 100 einzelne Changesets mit dem nichtssagenden "Erhebung vor Ort" hochlädst ;)

Dass irgendwas zu einer Routing-Penalty führt, ist kein ausreichendes Argument für seine Löschung. Zugleich ist die von Zrop präferierte Lösung hier weit weniger verbreitet in Deutschland (4500mal vs. 164.000mal) und hat den Nachteil, dass sie die Verkehrsampel doppelt - einmal explizit als Ampel und einmal implizit als crossing=traffic_signals. Bitte unterlasst den Edit War und kommt im Forum zu einer Lösung. (DWG-Ticket#2024112810000195)

Hallo BNH, in diesem Chageset hast Du eine Brücke als entfernt markiert. Es gibt jedoch einen Wanderweg und drei MTB-Trails, die diese Brücke nutzen (Harzklub-Weg 12B, "Brüche & Bäche", "Radau Wasserfall-Trail" und "Schwarze Rabentour"). Was ist mit denen? Wo gehen die jetzt lang, oder haben die zu existieren aufgehört?

In this changeset you have deleted a couple of buildings and re-created them in slightly different geometry, with sometimes a different number of levels, and dropping the name that was there before. The changeset comment "terrain generation" is completely insufficient for this kind of edit; please explain why you felt the need to delete these buildings and replace them. https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=159643311 shows the changes that have been made.

osm.org/way/1336807590 is a building that exactly matches the *roof* location on ESRI imagery (not the building base), and doesn't match anything on Bing imagery. Can you explain where this shape came from?

Dear Joey Kempe, please don't use the catch-all "Multiple" as a changeset comment. Especially when deleting lots of features, try to write a few more words about what you changed and why.

Auf keinem der mir zugänglichen Luftbilder sehe ich hier auch nur eine Baugrube, und auch eine Internet-Suche nach "Neubau Wittekindstraße 11" förderte nichts zu Tage. Woher hast Du die Informationen, verfügst Du über eigene Luftbilder oder Planungsunterlagen?

The new account "JackSparrow1984" has performed a number of deletions which will be reverted. Creating sock puppet accounts in order to circumvent our moderation mechanisms is against our rules. The account has also added access=private to a number of ways which I will not revert because it at least demonstrates a level of understanding. The local community is encouraged to verify the claims of private access though.

Dear medic12, none of the seven points you are making above is sufficient reason to delete paths from OSM. We *only* delete paths that don't exist (and we would want more proof of that than the word of a land owner). Paths that exist but are not open for public use must receive proper "access" tags, as you have been told multiple times when you attempted the same changes in September last year.

Please email us at data@osmfoundation.org and include the correspondence you claim to have had with the "OSM legal team" so that we can review the situation. Until then, your edits are reverted.

Hello Tim10101010101, you can hit the "Q" key after mapping a building in ID to make it rectangular (provided of course that the imagery suggests it is).

Dear Mayan Anastasya, thank you for your contributions to OpenStreetMap. You do not have to upload every single building - simply create 10 or 20 and then upload them all togehter. In the "changeset comment" field, enter a human-readable description of your edit (e.g. "added buildings in NAME_OF_CITY"). Do not write "ok", it makes no sense.

For the building name, only fill that field if the building has a NAME (for example "World Trade Center"). Do not but a description or the purpose of a building in the name tag. If something is already tagged as a building, don't add "Rumah" as the name - it is already clear.

Dear pduriancikova, you have downgraded Anguilla to admin_level 3 in this changeset without giving a reason or discussing this with others beforehand. I am reverting this edit, as well as others you made on the same day without a reason ("fix of admin_level" is not a sufficient reason). Please discuss these changes on the forum before you act.

Dear Harshavardhan02156, in this changeset you have removed a lot of detailed residential areas and replaced them with much more coarsely drawn versions that are less accurate. Please don't do that. I will revert this edit.

When you add new residential areas you can choose how precise you want to be, and drawing a coarse area is ok, but it is NOT ok to remove an area that someone else has drawn with great attention to detail and replace it with a lesser quality one.

Also, in your changeset comments, please use a good description of your edits, not "Updated" - that is a description that fits 99% of all edits made in OSM. See osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments for an in-depth explanation.

Also, osm.org/way/1335793580 overlaps with another building drawn 6 years ago, and osm.org/way/1335790990 overlaps with another building drawn by someone else with the "#istm2024" hashtag.
