Hallo, Du hast den Way osm.org/way/619870108 zwar nicht als erster eingetragen, aber selbst verändert - wie kommt es, dass hier mitten in einem militärischen SIcherheitsbereich, dessen Betreten für die Zivilbevölkerung dauerhaft verboten ist, munter MTB-Trails angelegt wurden? Kennst Du Dich da aus? Ist das nicht entsprechend beschildert?

This changeset has replaced a hitherto almost contiguous Palestine with a disjunct jumble of controlled areas. The wiki at osm.wiki/Israel#Palestine_Related says that this relation covers the West Bank and the Gaza strip, but now it doesn't any more. The DWG has received complaints that after this edit, there is no relation any longer that describes the entirety of Palestine. Was this your intention? The changeset comment is awfully terse for a change of that magnitude. Can you explain the reasoning behind this edit? If there isn't a very good reason, the DWG is likely to revert this relation to its previous state, although you are free to create another relation that groups the individual areas. Data imports have to follow a process that includes thorough discussion with other community members and documentation of the process and methods. I see that you have deleted a lot of existing land cover information and replaced it with something else. Where was this discussed?

Kontrolliert wirst ja nicht Du, sondern die Wege im NSG. Die sind halt schon mehrfach und trotz deutilcher Ansprache von einem Benutzer gelöscht worden. Wenn wir den dann sperren und wenige Stunden später diese Wege von jemand anderem angefasst werden, schaut man schon genauer hin. Tut mir leid, wenn Du da rein durch Zufall in unser Visier geraten bist.

Hallo Mtn_V, ich wundere mich über den highway=service mit dem Namen "Clownschule" (osm.org/way/838922828). Aus drei Gründen: (1) service=parking_aisle verwendet man eigentlich nur für Fahrwege innerhalb eines größeren Parkplatzes; (2) die Webseite der Clownschule schreibt "am besten am Bahnhof parken" und nicht "Parkplatz hinter dem Haus"; (3) selbst wenn dieser Weg zu einem Parkplatz der Clownschule führen würde, würde man ihm das nicht als name-Tag geben, dazu müsste es schon offiziell so heißen... vielleicht kannst Du das nochmal prüfen.

Warum hast Du die Wege angepasst, nach welchen Informationen bist Du dabei vorgegangen ("survey+knowledge" schreibst Du, von wann ist Deine Ortsbegehung?) und inwelcher Beziehung stehst Du zu "4290_Landwirt", dass Du so kurz nach der Revertierung seiner Edits hier tätig wirst, ohne jedoch zuvor hier editiert zu haben?

I am with the DWG, a group that deals with vandalism. The local community had asked us for help in cleaning up the work of a vandal who persistenly damaged the map in the Trieste area.

We all want the best map. But what I am seeing is people ganging up against one particular user, and finding fault in everything that user does, even if it would be totally fine for someone else to make the same edit. That is what I don't like. An edit does not become a bad edit because it is made by user X - an edit is either good or bad in itself.

I would like to understand what "error" in way 881574242 was fixed in this changeset?

hossein132, can you explain how changing a primary road into an alleyway is "accurate and credible"? I wonder if this might be a language issue - do you know what a "service road" and an "alleyway" are?
