Take a look at this junction in Hemel Hempstead in the UK:-

This set of mini-roundabouts on a big one has been there since the late 1960s. There is also another similar one in High Wycombe, about 30 Kms away, but I have just noticed that it has not been tagged properly (I do not live there anymore so I am not sure whether it is my place to edit it) so I have not referenced it here.
By the way kaerast, I think that the portion of way between the 2 mini-roundabout nodes should be given the name of the main road that these junctions are on.

Thank you for bringing openrouteservice.org to my attention.
Although it is obviously in the early stages of development I was pleased to find that it was able to provide me with a route map from Andorra to Barcelona Airport, so it does not just work in Germany. I have been looking for a reasonably painless way to generate a GPX file of the route to overlay on an OSM map in a web page I am developing for a client. Good stuff.
As TomH said OSM is normally updated once a week, on Thursdays. In fact, a new way I uploaded last Monday has just shown up today.

I live in Andorra and I am in the process of fleshing out the mapping done, from aerial images, by the user 'skywave'.
I have noticed that there are large gaps in OSM's coverage of Catalunya. When I occasionally travel from Andorra to Barcelona I take my GPS along and try to fill in some of those holes which at the moment means tracking the missing main roads.
Sadly, I will be too busy here to come and help you but I wish you an enjoyable holiday and a successful tracking.
The weather has been horrible for the last 6 weeks but there are signs that summer is finally arriving.

I am having the same problem today as well. If you are quick you can still make a way based on your trace by using the edit feature of Potlatch before the system rejects the upload. I have just done that with one trace. Let's hope someone is working on this bug.
