Hi Ian,
I recently included the information for the entitites inside Burnside in the indoor tags, in this case for the Geographic Information Centre on level=5. Otherwise, you would have about six different POIs on Burnside Hall - this is possible, but doesn't look nice and is not useful. May I ask you if you would like to amend the tags on the indoor object with the information you provided for the POI. Alternatively, would you be ok with me amending it and deleting your POI? Thanks, Tim

Ok, maybe I interpreted the wiki entry too much. I am fine with leaving it in. Still learning the intricacies of the OSM cosmos. I will extend the landuse boundary to include all buildings in Montgomery if that's ok with you. Have a good day, too!

Hi Martin,
I have asked because there might be a local tradition of using landuse=residential differently to the overall OSM I read the Wiki (osm.wiki/Tag:landuse%3Dresidential) in a way, that you shouldn't use the tag as a replacement of the admin unit if the buildings are there; further, as the buildings are there now, I wouldn't really know where to draw the boundaries anyway, if they are not based on the official admin boundary (e.g. some of the buildings in the north are not in your boundaries). Further, usually you don't add data just for the renderer (I was just reminded about this by my Canadian mappers on talk-ca recently). Do you think we still should leave it in? I don't mind, I just want to follow OSM tradition here.

Hi Martin,
I just happened to add buildings in Montgomery Center, VT. I saw you added the landuse=residential boundary to the village. As your changeset says it was based on Bing aerial, may I assume that this was just a hunch and can be deleted after I added all the buildings? Or the village boundary derived from some kind of land registry? Thanks, Tim
