I am a Software-Engineer, who has some affiniti to maps and GPS devices.
I started to actively map the place I live in May 2008. These mapping activities are conducted with a Garmin GPSmap60Cx. During the first phase, I used to write down street names etc, but since the JOSM Editor supports integrating photos, I use geo-coded images for capturing those details now.
During my holiday on Gran Canaria, I also recorded some track-logs. But most of the Gran Canaria edits I have done so far are based on Yahoo images.
