More of a question, because I have seen that you have made some corrections to place polygons osm.org/way/480335508/history and just was curious if you have some source that could be used for places since they look well grouped to be drawn as a polygons

Hi, I have a question about Salar de Uyuni, this is salt desert. This is not a wetland. Yes, when there are rains it becomes a "lake" but it is not its primary geological definition. The wetland is most of the time underwater/wet, but this one is mostly dry.

If that is the case I think better solution is using osm.wiki/Tag:historic%3Darchaeological_site

please pay attention to place nodes that you are removing, they have their purpose and that is to define what type of place this is. Now you have put just a name on a residential area, so no one knows if this represents a village, town, city, etc. Can you go back and revert your changes or at least put a place tag back on land areas, but be sure that you know the exact extent of the area that this place is covering
