Hi Sebastian Wallroth

When adding boundaries, consider the administrative level and the roles of relation members. This appears to be more like admin_level=8 rather than admin_level=1.

Happy mapping!

Hi Sebastian Wallroth

You added a segment to the Stadtmitte boundary, but the relation is not closed. If you have local knowledge, could you please fix this issue?
Thanks!

Thanks for the comment!
Usually, when I notice a bigger issue, I either reach out to the user or perform a revert. However, on that day, the OSM server was returning an error related to downloading large amounts of data, so I was simply fixing the broken boundaries I monitor on OSM Nightwatch(https://nightwatch.karlas.si/).

Hi sajadirano,

You changed the name from 'استان خراسان رضوی - Razavi Khorasan province' to 'استان خراسان غربی - West Khorasan province.' Do you have any local knowledge or government data to confirm this name change, or is it just an unintentional error?

Thanks

Hi luisma1795,

I noticed that the south border at coordinates 8.0891957, -72.1883297, located between Rómulo Acosta and Municipio Seboruco, looks suspicious. Could you please double-check the boundary changes you made in this area?

Thanks for your attention to this.

Best regards,
Aleksandar

Hi Tristan_COB,

I see that you have been working extensively in this area and possess valuable local knowledge. I understand you intended to update the geometry of the Bryan boundary; however, it seems that double segments were created in the process. The validation has indicated an error: the multipolygon is not closed in the area at coordinates 30.6878956, -96.3907619.

Thank you!

You're welcome!
When you select the relation, just click on "Validation." In this case, it showed me that the relation is intersecting itself at this point (38.9683685, -84.2747564).

Hi JikJola,

Adding the Okuryangava suburb is very valuable. However, it would be great if you could close this multipolygon if you have local knowledge of the area.

Thanks and happy mapping!

Best,
Aleksandar

Thank you for your response and your efforts, we can clearly see that you want to adjust boundaries to a current condition. We already fixed issues with broken boundaries.
Probably the best tool when working with dounbaries would be JOSM software (https://josm.openstreetmap.de/wiki/Download), where you can clearly see on a larger scale if the boundary is broken. Here you can find helpful link for editing relations (osm.wiki/Relation)
If you have any further questions feel free to ask for help.
Best regards
Aleksandar

Dear Juochnyierbong,
Thank you for your recent contributions to the Unity region in OpenStreetMap. We've noticed that you've been adjusting the boundaries, particularly around the Ruweng Administrative Area, Pariang, Rubkona, and Guit. Your dedication to improving the map is greatly appreciated. However, we observed that some issues with the boundaries and relations have arisen following your changes. Specifically, it seems that a few relations remain broken. Old boundaries looked correct so maybe they shouldn't be changed because these issues might impact on the overall integrity of the map data.
Affected boundaries are:
Ruweng Administrative Area: osm.org/relation/13550743
Pariang: osm.org/relation/13530352
Rubkona: osm.org/relation/13530295
Guit: osm.org/relation/13530261
Unity: osm.org/relation/2190519
We wanted to check if you've encountered any challenges while working on these edits? Open Street Map's relation structures can be complex, and it’s easy to overlook how changes to one element might affect others. If you're experiencing any difficulties or have any questions about how relations function within OSM, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We would be more than happy to assist in resolving any issues or provide guidance where needed. Your continued contributions are invaluable to the community and ensuring that all elements work seamlessly together is crucial for maintaining the quality of our shared map.
Thank you
