Thanks for the advice, I have corrected now. How did this come to your attention?

No, I made that assumption based on the lack of any payment mechanism or sign on the door.

Hi Dave - I can't for the life of me remember if I have ever seen anyone going in/out. I pass it often in the summer but have no reason to use it since we have accomodation nearby. I just answered a question about whether it was still there or not. I will have a closer look in March!

This is an error and needs to be deleted - caused by timing delay in data download

Yes, agreed, thanks for the confirmation, I will change the driveway to private.

I think your comment relates to the Driveway that leads to Newhall Farm from the Chester High Road next to Mini Monsters. I wondered why you think this is an publicly accessible footpath? There is a large sign sayong Private and the drive is not marked as a Public Footpath on the 1:25K OS map.

SomeoneElse - looks perfect, thanks.

Thanks Cebderby, it looks fine now.

CycleStreets - sorry I mistakenly thought it was you that changed it to Busway - I see now it was in fact Ste_Nova. Anyway all looks good after Cebderby's intervention.

In fact the section to the south of that is just the same, but you didn't change that from Service Road so it still routes correctly. w280743201

I think there is only one way which you have marked as a "Busway" . This one

Hi, I noticed you have edited the busway along through DIP and you marked it as designated for bikes - but you have not included anything for pedestrians? The road is walked by lots of people and there is nothing to indicate anything against this. Was this deliberate or just an oversite?

Sorry, I just looked again at the link you provided and see the orange line on your excerpt. I wouldn't go that way at all since it would require me to ride up a cobbled slope, do a right turn, cross a busy road and go through a gate, whereas I can just keep riding along the towpath!

I'm not sure what you mean by coming from the South East since there is no approach from that direction unless you mean along that small spur of road. If I was coming along the canal from the East I would stay on the canal side path following the canal around the bend and under the bridge. There is no sign to say you can't and I have done it often.

I was trying seperately to show that its possible to access the canal on the West Side directly from Wharf View which was marked as a N for cycling, but again I see no reason why.

I find the NCN markings rather confusing and try to stay away from them!
Hope this helps?

You have reinstated the wooden bridge taking the Wirral Way over Cuckoo Lane. However this bridge does not exist - it was removed by the council months ago and a diversion signed. At present there are no plans to replace it although they hope to do it at some point.

This was not a map roulette edit - note added in error, should have been deleted.

Can you check this edit please - this lane appears to be a private drive, unsurfaced to me. You have marked it as tarnac with bike paths on both sides.

Fair enough. I'm just replying to say that I haven't seen those storymaps before - very impressive.

No I don't think anything has changed. I didn't see the rumble strips as indicating no cycling, so much as a warning to slow down. Coming south on the A589 it is clearly a SUP and there is nothing to indicate that stops just there. I came over the crossing over the dual carriageway which is a toucan and there is nothing to tell me not to turn right apart from the rumble strips.

At the other end is a lowered pavement allowing you to cycle onto the road and join the traffic again. I din't see anything to indicate this was a "pedestrian only crossing". It worked well for me any way.

Anyway it sounds as if you are a lot more local than me, so feel free to change it back if you wish.

Thanks guys, I was there yesterday and when I turned into it saw a sign saying "Private". However I have now reviewed my video of it and realise it says "Private - No Parking" !
I have changed it back now. Sorry to waste your time and thanks for alerting me.

Thanks for the advice, Bernard, I have now edited as you suggest. The foot/cycle paths are not just separated by a line but with a kerb, which is why I thought the separation worth marking.
