61213835 | about 7 years ago | I think roads were mostly fine, I only have the area around node 2032609731 in memory but it looks like you've taken care of it. Thanks! |
61213835 | about 7 years ago | I see you are using JOSM. One way would be with the Reverter plugin: osm.wiki/JOSM/Plugins/Reverter That plugin allows you to either revert a complete changeset or to revert only the selected nodes & ways. When reverting a moved way it's nodes have to be selected too. In this particular case I don't think a complete revert of that river would be the best case, as some sections of it are now better aligned to Bing & the roads. For example at node 3033919389 and downstream the positions are now off due to the move, but from node 3033919502 upstream until node 3033685234 they look better now than before. I think that was the region you were working on with the roads as well. I think the best solution would be to split the river near those points to keep the good part in the middle. Then either move the two unaligned ways manually, or select all nodes of them and use the reverter plugin only for that selection. After that combine the three ways back to one and review the complete way. I hope you can follow my suggested approach? Do you want to perform those steps or should I do it? |
61213835 | about 7 years ago | Hi, it looks like you accidentally shifted the complete river by 20m. For example at osm.org/node/5797574057 it now intersects quite often with the primary road |
59745410 | about 7 years ago | Thanks for the road updates :) If you are interested in this region (or even have personal knowledge) you might want to help the validation at https://tasks.hotosm.org/project/1240 I added a lot of buildings outside of that projects area as well (up to osm.org/way/394935098) |

58782676 | over 7 years ago | Hello Benjamim,
I have two minor suggestions: you added some lines without giving them any tags, for example osm.org/way/586571597 It looks to me like a road on satellite imagery. I order to be understand as a road those lines need to be tagged as such, for example as highway=residential, probably with surface=unpaved. The road classification is based on its usage, you can find more information about the road classification and tagging in the wiki: osm.wiki/Highway_Tag_Africa My second point is that you have used the tag landuse=retail for osm.org/way/586571596 From its name and appearance on satellite imagery I think landuse=education might fit better, usually landuse=retail is used for larger shopping areas, where multiple stores are located. |

57741588 | over 7 years ago | Der Punkt war ja bereits schon als "disused:amenity=restaurant" erfasst. |
