Hi ftcat,
I might not have lived there but I am dealing with the resources available to me and the insight given during some of our sessions with the Zambia team leading this project I happen to be partaking in.

And I am not assuming everything is done through the tasking manager as I understand there are diversified ways of contributing to OSM project. I have come across a couple of stuff with history as you being the sole contributor which I share on the moderators of this project's page for guidance which sometimes gives the option of deletion.

For this particular one, I did not consult, I only used the wiki forums for which I am expressing my remorse for any inconvenience caused.

We are all learners regardless of our level of experience, I have erred and I take full responsibility for my action.

I am only drawing your attention to watch out or possibly learn more on the things you map and how you map them. Coming from or staying in the community is not enough to understand the guidelines in mapping for which reason there are documentations on how to map generally in OSM.

I do not gain anything from deleting another person's contribution. The ultimate goal is to have readily available and accessible data of quality that can be used by all for decision making purposes.

Once again, I am sorry.
Happy Mapping ftcat!

Hi ftcat,
I hope you are well.
Thank you so much for drawing my attention to this.

I don't remember if I've reached out to you via the comment session on tasking manager or not but I've been having challenges with most of the stuff you map (roads, waterways) that per the OSM guidelines and project description were not supposed to be mapped.

When I was validating this tile, those 2 particular reservoirs were giving me a lot of errors, checked on the wiki and couldn't find ways to modify it without distortion.

However, I render my sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused, it is a great chance to learn more on reservoir mappings.
Happy mapping.
