...and PHWAP! Ways everywhere!
I got back from my holliday a week ago and have since ridden 50km around Mullumbimby. It's not 100% yet as there's a few streets to the SW which are a bit hilly (up around the Hospital and Cemetary) but it's much more complete than it was.
Now all I need is internet access that's not behing a password'ed proxy so I can upload the changes.
Oh, and why aren't the waterway=river ways not rendering? *grumbles*.

Good work. It's great to see mapping in our regional areas. I checked out your river not rending problem and did two things. Changed the direction of the river ways to towards the coastline and forced a render of OSMARENDER using Information Freeway (http://www.informationfreeway.org/?lat=-28.54284478969428&lon=153.5120200070555&zoom=12&layers=B000F000F) (by pressing R on the requested tile). If you look at the map (osm.org/?lat=-28.5524200039433&lon=153.500347035951&zoom=14) and change the Base layer to Osmarender, your rivers show up. They should turn up in the Mapnik base layer in a week.
I expect the forced render did the trick, not changing the river direction.

Ahh, problems questioned in diary posts almost gets a faster response than from mailing lists or forums :p. I hadn't bothered doing a forced update yet, but I'd done them 2 weeks ago and thought mapnik would have rendered them. I didn't know that rivers should be drawn in their direction of flow, thanks for that one.
