I got my GPS unit today, ordered of eBay. It's a Garmin etrex Legend Cx and is smaller and prettier than I imagined.
I took it out for a walk around the neighborhood and uploaded a track with some footpaths around Giljahverfi in Akureyri.

Nice unit! Make sure you try putting OSM maps onto it - it makes the garmins twice as useful!
