Hi ChonkerStonker, I haven't seen this before in residential streets, but are all the additions of separately mapped footpaths redundant? osm.wiki/Tag:highway%3Dfootway seems to suggest the preferred way is to mark whether the road has sidewalks. In a few streets I looked at they were already marked, so manually adding footpaths seems to add complexity without adding more info (it looks like they are now duplicated). Thoughts?

@nevw I concur, a few weeks ago I drove past and I'm sure all the newish apartments are still there. These changes appear to not reflect reality.
