29963851 | over 10 years ago | Ah, now I remember. I was following what seemed to be local convention: node
But I'd be happy to mechanically retag all of those to include the "amenity=vending_machine". |
29963851 | over 10 years ago | Fixing. Both nodes had the problem. |
29853535 | over 10 years ago | For rendering support see https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/1466 |
29853535 | over 10 years ago | Thanks for mapping. There is a typo in "sanitary_dump_satatio:gravityn".

16773324 | over 10 years ago | Cool. You did fine with the tagging: there were at least a dozen distinct tags in use for that feature. Though next time you could add a "note" tag to make things clear, in the case where the meaning of the tag is not well established. The features are there in your original location, but do not render on the map. You can still edit them however. osm.org/node/2368117987/history Rendering support does not exist: the feature is not considered important enough to render yet, with less than 1000 uses worldwide: https://github.com/gravitystorm/openstreetmap-carto/pull/1466 |
14946774 | over 10 years ago | Is osm.org/node/2145505013 a toilet holding tank dump spot (e.g. amenity=sanitary_dump_station )? |
16773324 | over 10 years ago | Updated dump station tagging. Thanks for mapping. Do both of these still exist as mapped? |
29643665 | over 10 years ago | In the USA "gravity" accepts blackwater with chemicals and grey water both:
For cassette systems see:
|
29643665 | over 10 years ago | Danke. In the UK those are called "Elsan points". See also osm.wiki/Talk:Tag:amenity%3Dsanitary_dump_station ---

29643665 | over 10 years ago | Könnten schreiben sie dass auf Deutsch? |
29643665 | over 10 years ago | I did not know there was a difference in Germany. In the USA, Mexico, Canada the only difference is the shape and size of the hole. How are chemical and no-chemical tagged in Germany? What tag would you recommend for osm.wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dsanitary_dump_station ? -------------------------------------------- In the USA a cassette is not welcome at a toilet for a human user. |
29643665 | over 10 years ago | The "gravity" style dump also takes chemical toilet waste. The concern is that "chemical_toilet" may be confused with a toilet for a human, rather than a place to dump contents of a holding tank. |
29917584 | over 10 years ago | Note that "cluster" is now deprecated for trees (it never really had a function) osm.wiki/Key:denotation |
15598445 | over 10 years ago | Is osm.org/node/1460386477/history a cluster or a natural monument? Could you check the denotation tag? |
9722741 | over 10 years ago | Considering retagging recycling:excrement to waterway=pump_out. Comments? |
6944151 | over 10 years ago | What is an amenity=p ? |
29643665 | over 10 years ago | Could we use sanitary_dump_station:cassette=yes and sanitary_dump_station:gravity=no then. But mostly get it documented on osm.wiki/Tag:amenity%3Dsanitary_dump_station talk page. |
29643665 | over 10 years ago | Could we discuss sanitary_dump_station:chemical_toilet before it's used too much. What does it mean? |
29445191 | over 10 years ago | Correcting spelling on osm.org/node/3396622871 |
11699867 | over 10 years ago | Updated your dump station tagging |
