This changeset was created over the course of 3 days. I requested somebody review it because of this reason, as I usually do not split up my work on changesets like this. Part of this was also created offline in JOSM so I also wanted to have it reviewed just in case it overrode anybody else's work

OS Terrain 50 is under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

I requested a review of this edit as this area is historical and (to my local knowledge) closed off to the general public so I want to make sure it is as accurate as can be and second opinions on matters and interpretations of the available imaginary would be nice.

Welcome to Newton!
Do you know what is being constructed in the large area you have marked as a construction zone? I'm surprised it managed to slip by me

Hey there and welcome to OpenStreetMap! It appears that some of the cycle ways you have created already exist in OpenStreetMap.

Please could you make sure that these cycle paths are not there already otherwise I will have to remove them after a survey.

I work extensively on the Newton-le-Willows and St. Helens area and connecting infrastructure and it appears you have added the same cycle paths that already exist as I have been on previous surveys in the areas you have edited and there are no new developments as far as cycle ways go. If you do find that the cycle ways are already there on OpenStreetMap then please remove yours and not others work. If you do not understand or want to chat further then please msg me, I will be happy to help you out. Happy mapping.

Hey there! First off thanks for mapping around here! I have seen your username crop up here and there whilst editing in and around St Helens myself, and I hope to see it more!

I have adjusted the construction area to better fit the Land Registry Index Polygons to stop it from spilling out into the pavements and (hopefully) improve its accuracy overall.

If what I have done is incorrect/inaccurate or your original shape was more accurate please change it!

Once again thank you for contributing around here and happy mapping!

In the ID editor you can also press "q" on your keyboard to quickly square items!
Happy mapping!

Thank you very much for fixing this issue. I have left a comment on my original edit (osm.org/changeset/97123157) replying to the very kind one that you left for me.

Thank you very much on the information and for fixing this issue I did not know I created. I am new to OpenStreetMap and at the time found multipolygons confusing, however I believe I have gotten a lot better at it since. I very much appreciate the information you have linked and will thoroughly read through it.

How I create multipoligons in ID is I draw an "area" around the object and then another "area" inside that object I want to cut out, I then right click with both areas selected and "merge". I must have gotten something completely wrong as the ID editor automatically sorts everything out for me (I probably confused several things in my head whilst changing the tags with all the solar panels selected). I do apologise and thank you again for fixing the issue.
