Please help checking country node positions of African states
ߊ߬ ߟߊߦߟߍ߬ߣߍ߲߬ ߦߋ߫ ColinMarquardt ߓߟߏ߫ 14 January 2009 ߦߋ߫ English ߟߋ߬ ߘߐ߫Mapnik at zoom 6 and lower now displays country names (set on nodes in the database). Sometimes, especially in central Africa, these are positioned wrong though. Please help in moving these nodes to the right position.
I did São Tomé and Príncipe, Saint Helena, Tunisia and Egypt for now.

What editor can be used to change or move these country nodes? I normally use
Merkaartor but I wouldn't want to download the whole country to search for the
node that has the country name.

I don't even remember, but I think I was using XAPI to get the data at that time, then editing in any editor.
