hi, is this way really needed?
osm.org/way/552418771
Thanks

Hi, please make sure this node osm.org/node/2841763585 is part of the path below it, right now they're disconnected from each other.
Other than that, the trail and the service road going into the parking next to the village hall should be connected to each other, so that routing could work properly.
Could you please have a look and fix it?
thank you Andy

Hi, please make sure you connect the sidewalks on both their ends, this one right now looks like a dead end osm.org/way/544677065 near the railway crossing

hi, I just noticed this trail name osm.org/way/419812034 and then I gave a look at its tags. Please keep in mind that the name tag has to point out the real name of an object, not every info related to it.
If you want to point out that the trail is not accessible to hikers/pedestrians you should only add the foot=no tag, why is this trail tagged as foot=yes then? are hikers allowed on it?
The same works for this one osm.org/way/330609298, if the trail is closed you just need to add the access=no + description="trail closed in December 2016", using the name tag to point out those info is not correct.
I think I can get the reason behind this usage of the name tag but first it's not correct, second, it's less useful than you might think, and I'm explaining you why.
If you add a name like that, everyone using strava or one of the other routing services available (eg http://openrouteservice.org/ ) to create a route from point A to point B might not see the name you added and the software will let him hike up those trails, even if they are named "** TRAIL CLOSED **" and "**NO HIKING**". If you instead add the proper tags ( foot=no or access=no in this cases), the routing services will recognize those trails and will use them according to those tags.
Feel free to ask in case you have some doubts, I'm not going to edit this area right, so that you can see what I'm talking about, but I'll give it a look in the next days.
Thanks

ciao, con questa modifica hai aggiunto il nome a questa strada osm.org/way/25977081
Immagino sia "Via", non "Vi", giusto?
Riesci a correggere tu?
grazie

Hi, thanks, I didn't see that. Thanks for the reverts as well!

Looks like this changeset only removed objects which looked legit and messed up some roads, why did you do that? what were you trying to do?

Ciao

Hi, this is the section I removed https://nrenner.github.io/achavi/?changeset=55300065
I think it didn't make any sense at all :)

I think I'll stick with "Kristy's", lesson learned.
I've been doing some research but I couldn't find a clear answer to this issue, let's trust TIGER then.
cheers

Hi there, thanks for your message. I didn't know he used gmaps as a source in the past. I just decided to trust the anonymous user and do not double check it somewhere else, but after reading your message I've pretty much changed my mind.
Feel free to revert my edit.
Thanks

Ciao, immagino che il tratto da te aggiunto non sia davvero "senza uscita"; questo nodo osm.org/node/5325557926 non è connesso a questo altro sentiero osm.org/way/34095459 , è giusto che da uno non si acceda all'altro?
grazie
