I'll finish the AAA cycling route relation today or tomorrow so the map shows them as "routes" again

The routing engines use infrastructure tags (which need a bunch of work, about to start on that) and the relations are less important than the infrastructure.

The city's published map does not break out individual routes, they are all coloured the same. The city actually removed the map that showed the different routes. And yes, some of them have the older Bicycle Route sign, but most of those predate the AAA creation, and none name the route ala the Regional Trails

Cycle routes says this: Cycle routes or bicycle route are named or numbered or otherwise signed routes" from osm.wiki/Cycle_routes
The city only named them temporarily for planning purposes

They are not officially signed routes on the street, hence why I think they don't make sense. Unlike the Goose, Lochside & E&N, you cannot go to the street and find signs that say "Oaklands Connector" or "Pandora St bikeway"
