Newbie wants to know how to delete such items that have been inadvertently saved. All I can do is to drag it to somewhere where a feature is needed and name it, but there must be a better way.

Just hit backspace on the keyboard (or perhaps delete on a PC, I'm using a mac.) Hope this helps!

If you're trying to delete a way, you'll need to use Shift-backspace instead of just backspace.

I enjoy using local knowledge to improve maps but I get the impression that what is really needed is people who work with GPS refs. Is that so?

On entering Edit and Save, I keep getting an error requiring a bug report to be sent to
richard\@systemeD.net
but no such address exists.
Would like a response to my prev msg about GPS refs, please
