Hi ralley, first time I've seen this key being used, I'm curious!
How - are you manually mapping colours or using some detection algorithm first?
Why - The OSM Wiki says this is "Mostly used for 3D mapping' - is that the reason you're adding this detail?

Hi Rudy, it looks like you probably intended to delete address 7B Mayville Ave, but instead accidentally dragged it over to Astley Ave? I have corrected this by deleting the address point, in changeset 83283718

Disagree with removing the footpaths which were mapped as separate ways, especially around Union St/ Nelson/Hobson. The roads around here are multi lane and generally unsuitable for pedestrian routing - so it makes sense to have well-mapped footpaths and crossings, so that pedestrian routing correctly makes use of crossings and doesn't suggest impossible/dangerous directions.

I've made some further, related adjustments in changeset 82160489 . Hopefully this will see the footpath routing no longer taking people onto the roundabout.

This new footpath is not connected to the wider road network (except where it is crossing the medical centre driveway), so it won't be used in any routing - or at least, not as you'd want it to.

Footpaths along the side of the road typically shouldn't be mapped as their own way, unless there's significant physical separation from the road, or there is some routing reason that it makes sense.

Was there a particular issue you were wanting to address with this footpath around the block?

driveways should be tagged as highway:service_road and service:driveway

other tags are unnecessary, eg the name tag should be for signposted or locally known names

Have realised now that some of the removed bus stops (eg southern part of Ostend) are still bus stops, but only for school bus routes. I will re-add these at a later time. will leave note on map

Reverted my erroneous changeset which was due to uploading the wrong dataset from JOSM. I will now push the correct data.

Messed up in JOSM and uploaded the wrong data.
Haven't reverted a changeset before, looking into it now.

I'm not going to remove the old station POI myself - I haven't confirmed with survey or seen reports that they're fully moved out yet - might still have operations out of there?

Not sure why OSMCha reports "possible import" - there was no import in this changeset.

Hey Callum I can see some of your older edits were to address routing issues in an AT app, is this the same for these Queen St/ Wellesley St edits?

If there's a routing issue which you're not sure how fix, feel free to leave a Note on the map (most OSM apps will have a function to do this) - and another contributor will be able to weigh in on how fix it

Hi Callum,
Footpaths can be mapped as seperate ways, as you have done, but generally this is only done if there's quite a distinct footpath, separated by a fence or a grass verge or something like that.

And keep in mind that pedestrian routing becomes much more complicated if you start mapping footpaths separately!

Have a read of the OSM wiki on sidewalks: osm.wiki/Sidewalks

Welcome! And thanks for the addition. I've made some slight changes to the tags for the shop, in line with the wiki page. These aren't hard-and-fast rules, but are useful guidelines for consistency.

Thanks for the heads up, I will update the lane attributes on Ian McKinnon drive to reflect the current state, and then resolve the note.
