Arthur Grey Low Traffic Area
ایہہ 11؍March 2021ء English وچ «CoyKoi» لیکھ چھپیا گیا سی۔ ایہہ 12؍March 2021ء تے پہلا نواں کرنThe Arthur Grey Low Traffic Area is a series of modal filters and other traffic interventions in Onehunga, Auckland. These filters are changing the routing network for cars, whilst maintaining access through the existing network for pedestrians and bicycles. Link to detailed intervention designs.
The interventions are being installed for a trial/pilot period, and are likely to take a different form in their final form (if they are made permanent at all). It is important to map these so that routing is up to date, especially for cars which are significantly affected.
Because the interventions are likely to change in future, it will be useful to keep track of the changesets I have made, in order to quickly access them for review in future. I am using the hashtag #arthurgreylowtrafficarea for relevant changesets, and will maintain the list below.

We have a few of these springing up in east London too, including some modal traffic filters which are ‘enforced’ by camera systems. I think that means you can drive through easily enough, but if you shouldn’t have, you get a fine later.
Do you think there would be some value in having a set of tags for these types of scheme? Perhaps including an outline way for the area, and having a relation that includes it with the filters, gateways and other infrastructure? It would probably require agreement of lots of new tags.

Trial has been abandoned due to ongoing opposition/disruption https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/auckland-traffic-onehunga-low-traffic-neighbourhood-trial-cancelled/W53YBTT7WDFAP7HSDQGYH3PNQ4/
Not sure if it has been changed on the ground yet, will leave an OSM note reminding to update.
