You've connected some footways in the shopping centre that are on different levels.

Resurveyed today. Bridge is still under construction, and I have updated the construction ways to reflect all parts that are closed and fenced as part of the construction site. See osm.org/changeset/117224986.

Yes, at the time of this edit the old bridge had been removed and a new bridge was being constructed. Access was still available up close to the bridge (for residents, etc), but you couldn't go across the bridge.

Ds5rUy, You diligence in mapping your local area is excellent. I don't think I've seen detailed mapping like you have done up in Woodside anywhere else in Australia. As I am armchair mapping here, I am happy to defer to the local community and not do any large-scale work that may not be up to your standards (And I never was intending to).

I was only adding buildings around the hotel that I will be staying at this weekend so that I had some StreetComplete mapping to do.

At the same time, I don't appreciated that you are representing me (or any other mapper) as needing some "level of hand-holding" when we are making edits that are improving the local state of the map. Even a rough outline of a building is better than no building.

It allows apps like SC to collect more details, it encourages local mappers to start filling in their own blank areas, etc. Please be careful to not disparage the work of any mapper - no matter what level experience they have.

Finally, if you are in the North Lakes area this weekend, I would love to meet up over a coffee or similar. It's always great to meet other mappers and get inspired by different ways they have of improving this great project.

Please take a more positive attitude with other mappers. Any work that adds more detail to the map should be encouraged. Giving mappers (particularly new mappers - which I am definitely not) the idea that they shouldn't contribute things unless it is perfect is only going to slow the growth of OSM.

I'm mapping buildings in this area as I am expecting to be nearby soon to add more detail using StreetComplete. Having a building in there is better than nothing. I have checked and modified the building outlines in JOSM - they are not just taken straight from MapWithAI and while they are a bit rough, I have decided that the time tradeoff is worth it. You or any other mapper are welcome to refine them based on the arial imagery and/or future imports.

Hi, why have you changed these toilets access to private? That is not the case. While they are not open most of the time, when they are open the access would be best characterized as permissive or maybe customers only.

Armidale Secondary College is currently at osm.org/way/172412504 (I haven't updated it as such yet, because I wanted to check on the ground), while the main campus indicated here is under construction. Please don't revert the landuse=construction again without checking with someone local.

I'm happy to leave that up to other mappers, or do it on the ground when StreetComplete asks me. Having a pitch marked with no sport is better that no pitch marked at all.
