No. They don't exist as paths. They are part of the normal high way. They are not separate from it. Stop adding them. This scourge is invading more and more in London and it adds *nothing* but clutter.

And before you talk about "Crossing points". That means nothing in the UK. You can cross anywhere where you want. (but mapping lowered kerbs is obviously still useful).

There are sidewalk=both, sidewalk:left etc tags for this.

IMO, these new ways should not have been added at all, but instead just the tags on the roads should be there. These new ways hint at that these paths are separate from the road, and they are not, and they indicate only that you can cross at certain points, which is not a think in the UK. This now needs a massive review as it also misses other connections from already existing roads (like Donnington Road with the King Edward Park).

I've reverted this, as this was an incorrect change. The paths already connected *correctly* to the underground tube platforms, and do indeed, not touch the road at all (As they're 80 meters underground!).

I don't appreciate you being so condescending. If you'd bothered to look you'd have seen I mainly map with JOSM. Maps.me is majorly flawed but possibly the only thing that reasonably works for consumers. Rest assured that I'd be cleaning things up when I get access to my main computer. Although it's disconcerting that I added all these POIs last year, but somehow they've all been deleted. The person who did that needs yelling at.

I had a look yesterday, and it is indeed now "Mercer Walk". I did look at old photos, and it really did say "Mercer's Walk" on the signs (and also still on Google Street View).

this information was already mapped on the Carlton Vale segments itself, such as the cycleway:* tags on osm.org/way/536184791 and osm.org/way/427650 and osm.org/way/217789813 — your new segregated lane isn't fully correct, as it's not segregated everywhere — and duplicates information. I would suggest your revert this. The information about Carlton Vale's cycle way already renders "correctly" at for example osm.org/changeset/63371388#map=19/51.53250/-0.20192&layers=C

I did survey last night, and I've now updated the mapping. The buildings *do* actually form one building, with a level 1 in between. In 3D: http://demo.f4map.com/#lat=51.5434968&lon=-0.1893828&zoom=20&camera.theta=48.437&camera.phi=16.329 (once it refreshes, that is).
