FD isn't a very descriptive description of what you've done. It's helpful for other mappers if you leave more descriptive comments.

Please feel free to ask if you need a hand or have any questions.

Just wondering where the directions have come from in the names. As far as I know, no stops in the local area have the direction as part of the name.

You do raise a good point, I walked for about 30 minutes yesterday, and every bus stop had the same name. I think, and I stand to be corrected, the best approach may be putting the NAPTAN name into official_name or alt_name, I think the wiki suggests alt_name would be more appropriate - osm.wiki/NaPTAN/Tag_mappings

osm.wiki/Key:name suggests
"The most prominent name on a sign posted on the feature itself, especially for a feature in the built environment" - open to thoughts though :)

I’m confused about these name changes, a lot of the name changes are changing from what is on the ground to names that only exist in NAPTAN, as far as I was aware the correct approach is map what is present on the ground?

Where did this data come from? It changed the correct speed limit to an arbitrary wrong one?

Hi, thanks for updating bus routes in the North East.

Was just wondering where you were getting the naming conventions from as they don't appear to be the ones suggested on the wiki at osm.wiki/Buses

Thanks

Hi, just wondering why you have deleted this as it is clearly visible in aerial imagery?

Purely because it is private access doesn't mean it can't be mapped in OpenStreetMap.

Additionally it is helpful to leave descriptive changeset comments instead of just the word 'Private' so that others can understand what you have done.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask

Thanks

Can you confirm if you used a recent OS map to make this edit? If so it'll need to be undone as we can't copy OS maps onto OpenStreetMap?

If you have any questions feel free to ask

Thanks

Believe it was accidental, I've tied the resource centre up now anyways! Thank you for flagging it

Hey, is there a reason Church Point Holiday Park is in the middle a housing estate several miles down the coast from where it should be?

No problem. Need them for work anyway so just collated them all and uploaded them, got another set to do when I get a chance. They’re also helpful for addresses and phone numbers usually

They've come from me visiting all the venues in question and asking for a VAT receipt :) a survey... while eating food!

That will have been accidental, I'm about to login now to make some changes - I'll flip it back! Thank you for pointing it out

I'm a bit confused about what this area is representing? There aren't any tags indicating, and the changeset description is quite vague.

If you need any help feel free to give me a shout or have a browse of osm.wiki/Main_Page

Thanks :)

Ignore the changeset comment - updates to businesses, highways and public transport in Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside

Bit confused by the description on The Middle Bog - don't feel like it belongs on OSM?

Hi Alex, welcome to OSM!

Just wondering if there was a reason for adding new restraunts in Cullercoats which are already on the map?

If it was a mistake I can help you tidy these up if you'd like? It is possible in ID to merge them together (although in this case because the details already exist in the buildings themselves I'd suggest just removing the excess nodes?)

If you need any help, or have any questions, feel free to get in touch!

Thanks

Unable to identify Redburn Park on any other documentation - a brief survey indicates this should be retagged as landuse=grass? Would be interested to understand source of data?

Thanks

Not sure any of these fit the criteria of a park - would suggest "landuse=grass" as more appropriate.

Thanks
