Hi, how did you come up with several overlapping waterways across in two countries? Did you really trace these ways or just hitting upload on some machine generated geometries. Your contribution looks suspicious and irresponsible to me, after seeing osm.org/way/1375655430 and others. Can you clarify what you are doing?

Hi, do not remove useful tags added by local mappers and add duplicates as in the case of osm.org/way/574835459/history v2

I have restored

Hi, Just deleting valid existing features which created problems from organised mappers/mapping groups moving/deleting/connecting some building these existing valid object doesn't solve the problem. I will restore the deleted existing valid objects.

It takes time to fix problems, creating problems is rather easy, please watch and guide mappers.

Hi, I am not sure what you were errors you corrected here, but this created more mess than correction. Pay are attention to validation warnings before uploading saving your modifications.

This changeset created the problem you mentioned at osm.org/changeset/159477391 , see version 3 of the node osm.org/node/12366118798/history

Please pay close attention to validation messages in JOSM before hitting Upload.

It's a bit dirty now but if you can fix it without creating further problems please do it. Else I will.

What should be checked?

Hi Elijah and welcome to OpenStreetMap.

Do you mean this bulding is a church instead? If yes you do not need to delete it. You can change the tags on it to reflect what it is.

Which church is here and what is the name?

Hi, you have deleted mass useful data with this changeset. If you can restore / revert kindly do, else I will.

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap. Ways (roads, paths, etc) are connected to each other in the real world.

Please try to connect ways to the nearest connecting points to avoid floating / island ways which is not useful.

If you not sure how to interact with OpenStreetMap, here is a good starting resource https://welcome.openstreetmap.org/

Hi, Welcome to OpenStreetMap! A couple of issues with your contribution:

1. Please don't make this kind changesets, keep changes local. In case saving changes you made in a Ghana before moving somewhere else.
2. Do not add tags to features if you don't know what you are doing.
3. Make sure roads connect to nearby roads since roads are not isolated.

If you are not sure what OpenStreetMap is about, here is good starting resource https://welcome.openstreetmap.org/

Welcome to OpenStreetMap, I have reviewed your changeset, kindly download existing data in JOSM before adding new features. This changeset introduced multiple overlapping and duplicate buildings as there exist some data in OSM. I have reverted this changeset.

Hi, Please use Bing aerial imagery as reference in/around Kumasi for adding/aligning data in OSM. Esri World Imagery is very out-of-date and not with the best alignment as 2025-02-08 and should be avoided for now.

Hi John, you seem to be trying to help but just following JOSM validation without reviewing the features doesn't help any better. For example
1. osm.org/way/350836476 ==> this entire land area is not the church
2. osm.org/way/320073414 ==> multiple `tourism=hostel` on each building?

Hi, can you clarify why adding building nodes in exiting building areas? Or what are you trying to achieve? A feature should be represented with only one OSM element osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Hi, thanks for mapping. It is best to add more buildings per changeset.

It is also not necessary to add your name in the changeset comment. Take a look what makes a Good changeset comment and why you should use one osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments

Welcome to OpenStreetMap and thanks for mapping.
I have reviewed and updated your some of your contrubutions.

It is recommended to add a couple more buildings before saving/uploading a changeset to avoid having only a single building in a changeset as I have done with reviewing your buildings here ==> osm.org/changeset/161039146

Also right click on the area and select "Square" to make the edges more regular/straight, take a look at one example from my review ==> https://pewu.github.io/osm-history/#/way/1348560629

Hi, is the name of these houses and others publicly verifiable information or ? If these are private information please remove and don't add them as names to buildings in OpenStreetMap.

Also check for existing features before adding new ones to avoid duplicates. One feature should be represented with only one OSM element, see osm.wiki/One_feature,_one_OSM_element

Don't add a feature as node/area and at the same time as node/area, in this case fuel station is duplicate. I have resolved this now.

Hi, Kindly use Good changeset comments to describe your contributions as using only hashtags is meaningless to other mappers and yourself soon. See why you should use Good changeset comments osm.wiki/Good_changeset_comments
